Episode II of the fantastical audio drama is here!
(This video has been removed. Check out the new one here).
For those returning, welcome back. I know there are a few out there that are at least interested for the next
episode. For you guys, let me just say, Hi Mom and Dad. I'm doing well. Need laundry money. For those who are new to the site, what you are (maybe, hopefully) listening to is my new audio drama titled, The Amazing Adventures of Captain Farr Novarider and the Wild Horses. This is the end result of near two years of writing, recording, flailing about, and lube. Strange, copious amounts of lube.
The more observant of you probably noticed that you're listening to the second episode. You might get a better introduction to the characters in the first episodes, which I've re-posted below for you.

It's nice to finally have things [somewhat] figured out at this point. I still have a lot to get thru, though, such as trying to figure out distribution for the *.mp3 format along with a few bits and details. In my post on the previous episode, you probably noticed I was still trying to learn how to swim. At this point, I'm happy to say that I've graduated from thrashing about to spastic splash with water wings.
One of the things that I considering at the time was doing a Q&A along with some creative commentary (much like, the LRRcast over at LoadingReadyRun). The problem I ran into is that I didn't get any questions or comments. It doesn't help that I forgot what day it was because I work at a bank, meaning I get all the stupid holidays off causing me to lose track of my schedule (seriously, I get Columbus Day off; the fuck did he do that about hundreds of others didn't already?). Plus, I forgot how much trial and error goes into Hitman Blood Money. And I was watching Canaan. And playing with my Lego TIE-Defender.
Point is, I didn't do the creative commentary/Q&A thing. If you are interested, let me know. I can't tell how the series is doing or what questions you might have for me if you don't leave comments. I'm always open to suggestions and critiques. I am knee deep in recording the second, season, but they still help for revisions, future note, et cetera.
One thing that I forgot to do in my previous post is credit the man who helped make this series sound as good as it does. His name is in the credits, but he certainly deserves a second mention. Bradley Raines composed and produced the music entirely by himself. I gave him the basic idea that I wanted and told him to go to town, and did he ever. I can't thank him enough. If you have a project that needs music, you have no good reason to not consider B.Raines. If you have a project that does not need music, you should include music just to have Master B compose it for you.
Once again, thank you all for giving this a listen. I'm extremely pleased with how things are coming along, and I'm looking forward to putting out the next episodes for you all.
